As the director of QSI International School of Dongguan, I am honored to work with such a talented group of professional teachers, staff, parents and students.  Our community has been dedicated to teaching and learning in the international community of Dongguan for over 10 years.

My name is Don Hale, and I am honored to step into the role of School Director at QSI International School of Dongguan.

This marks my tenth year as a school administrator and my thirteenth year with QSI. With over two decades of experience in education, I’ve had the privilege of serving in multiple leadership roles across the QSI community—including two separate terms at QSI Shenzhen, with a posting as Director at QSI International School of Kosovo in between.

These international experiences have deepened my understanding of diverse school communities and strengthened my commitment to the QSI model of mastery learning and character development. At QSI Dongguan, I look forward to working closely with our teachers, students, and families to create a nurturing and academically rigorous environment.

I am joined by my wife, Jessica, a school counselor, and our son, Paul, who will be in the Secondary program. We are thrilled to be joining the QSI Dongguan community and look forward to a great year ahead.
