QSI International School of Dongguan is fully accredited by Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools - Commissions on Elementary and Secondary Schools
The Middle States Association is a worldwide leader in accreditation and school improvement. For over 125 years, Middle States has been helping school leaders establish and reach their goals, develop strategic plans, promote staff development and advance student achievement.
The QSI International School of Dongguan has been accredited by the Middle States Association since 2014. The school maintains its accreditation with MSA through a continual process of identifying areas for growth and implementing a community supported action plan to push the boundaries of success and achievement in those areas.
Goals Based on Accreditation
Each objective has a school-wide action plan that is continually implemented and reviewed throughout the school year. Below are QSID’s MSA certification goals for overall student organizational performance:
Student Performance Objective #1: Literacy
By 2028, QSI students will demonstrate improved literacy skills.
Student Performance Objective #2: 21st Century Skills
By 2028, students in QSI schools will demonstrate increased proficiency in the 21st Century Skills of collaboration, communication, creativity, and critical thinking.
Organizational Capacity Objective #1: Communication
By 2028, QSI will improve reciprocal communication that promotes organizational understanding and active feedback (meaning, school communities understand how decisions are made at the organizational level, and headquarters is aware of decisions that are made at the school level).
Organizational Capacity Objective #2: Mastery Learning
By 2028, QSI will improve its mastery learning practices in the areas of assessment, evaluation, and challenging students to go beyond the curriculum.
Educational Partners
College Board®
QSI International School of Dongguan is a member of the College Board®, Princeton, New Jersey, USA. Enrolled students are given the opportunity to take the SAT, which is a college entrance examination recognized by many universities in the USA, Canada, Europe, Australia, and other countries.
Advanced Placement (AP) Courses are also taught in the areas of World History, Science, Mathematics, English Literature, English Language, and Mandarin Language on a regular basis, along with others that may alternate.
